We’ve been keeping a close watch on producer / performer Terabyte (born Terra Marotz) this past year and was lucky enough to catch a live performance in San Francisco. Let’s just say it wasn’t disappointing. The electronic / synth-pop vibe was intoxicating and you knew you were witnessing something truly special. Terabyte’s passion in her artistry is infectious and was well displayed during her high-energy SF performance. Accessing moments of disco-revival, dubstep, trap, and tropical house music she evokes thoughts of Bjork, Santigold and Goldfrapp. Her upcoming body of work GPS will be released by the German electronic-music record company Qentaro Records. She’ll be doing a Twitch LIVE STREAM Saturday June 27th at 8pm Pacific time, be sure to tune in:

‘Go Together Ft. Quiet Domino’ – This is one of Terabyte’s more experimental tracks, all dreamy vibes meets down tempo love. One could listen and feel like your taking a journey into the artists mind or on a backseat ride in one of her dreams with no seat belt. She showcases clever programming and high pitch vocal harmonies.
‘Pleasure Center’ – A more dance friendly indie vibe that immediately draws you in with her commanding voice. I can’t help to think of a Grimes feel which is definitely a plus. I hope to see a music video for this one because TB is a strong visual artist as well.
‘Safe’ – Full on killer Indie Dance track and possibly my favorite in her trio of sonic goodness. Her shine comes thru super strong and I think represents her sound the best showing her talent as a song writer with big hooks. About three minutes into the track she gets fearless and hard bringing it to a climatic end. I have a feeling when performing live this will bring the house down.
