Thank you for considering submission of your work to DARK BEAUTY magazine. We are excited that you are interested in being a part of our publication. There are a few requirements that must be met to ensure that your work is featured in the best quality possible, both for print and online editions of our magazine. Those requirements are as follows:
IMAGES
72-dpi, RGB color space JPEG files (Maximum vertical: 1275pix X 1650pix, Maximum horizontal 2550pix x 1650pix)
No logos, credits or copy on images.
COPY
Microsoft Word Document or standard text file.
* Please proofread prior to submission and correct any possible spelling or grammar mistakes.
* All appropriate credit(s) must accompany submitted work(s) (TOG, MUA, MODEL, and STYLIST)
HOW
To submit your work, use the form below.
If your files are larger than 8MB, please upload them to our FTP server following the instructions below,
1. Connect to ftp.darkbeautymag.com using the username: dbcontributor and password: K376w705wN
2. Create a folder with your name and series title, and upload your images into your folder only.
3. Send us an email indicating the title of the folder and information about the series.
You can also send large files using YouSendIt.com
If you are submitting for a specific issue, please state clearly which issue you are submitting for. (i.e. “Alternative Wedding”, “August issue”)
